Quick comment on this memorial. These "wings" that come out of the ground  face two different directions. One direction points to the Pentagon, the other in the direction of the plane’s flight into the World Trade Center. On the tip of each of these wings has the name of the person that was lost in the respective locations. Each wing is placed along a grid according to the deceased birth year.
