A ripple for every moment

Summer scent trickles off the fragile leaves, color washes away in the autumn breeze. Yellow, orange and crimson red, fall with pride from where they're shed. Ripples in the water, too small to be seen. Lost as quickly in the motion as the fading green. A switch in the current, a swell in the tide. Change on the surface but perfect inside.

Welcome to the Leisure Gallery

This is a brand new section on the website. For people who are long-time fans of the blueshallow, you may recognize some of this material. I've created the section to hold content indirectly related to my own life. It includes links, emails (without the crazy arrows), magazine articles, and online articles of things I've found particularly interesting or funny. This section will also be the home of the recent updates section, poem count and artist of the week. I needed to free up the main page and the leisure section gave me a perfect opportunity to do so. Have fun surfing around in here, content will come quick.

Inspiration

Words can be more powerful than actions. They can lift up your spirits and even mend a broken heart. This section is devoted to inspirational pieces that will set your soul on fire. Without them, we would just be cold.

Friendship

There is nothing stronger than a bond of friendship. When we are falling they find ways to lift us up. They can bring a smile to our face when everything else around us feels so wrong. They keep us strong, they keep us true. Friends are forever.

Faith

When the road gets cloudy and the mountain too steep, there is always someone watching out for us. There is nothing more powerful than a friend. A friend is someone who will lay their life down for you. Someone did that for us once, what are we going to do about it?
