A ripple for every moment

Frigid sky scattered here and there. Shadows watch mountains who are not easily scared. Snowflakes fall as time stands still, while sun's warmth trembles under the treacherous chill. Depths run thin as the ice grows, and blue meets white in the blue shallow. Everything covered perfectly in a blanket, one that is cold and doesn't need to fake it.

I have this android app - YouVersion Bible. It's nice to have a bible to carry around with you on a daily basis. The challenge is actually using it.

This particular app allows you to pick pre-set plans that have sets of readings for each day. You can select short courses that only last a few days and other courses lasting a year long.

I'm currently in the middle of the Essential 100. It is a 100 day course with the first 50 days in the old testament and the final 50 days in the new testament. I'm at day 50 now and enjoyed the plan thus far. I was a little disappointed with the plan excluding any passages from Job.

Either way, it is one way for me to keep my head in the Word on a daily basis. I think that is a major issue Christians struggle with.

If you have a smart phone, I highly recommend this app.
