A Bad Night or A Bad Body?

Playing basketball yesterday, I started to realize I can't do things I used to do.
I still can play very good defense, but my ability to move sideways has dropped off precipitously. In fact, guarding one of the faster players I ended up stumbling across about 1/3 of the court and then falling over.
At the end of the night, I rolled my right ankle, smashed my left knee, jammed my right pinky finger, and gouged a chunk of skin out of my right wrist. Additionally, I accidentally elbowed one of my team-mates in the eye and his eyelid bled for about 30 minutes.
I don't know if it was just a bad night, or a "subtle" sign that I'm just getting too old for basketball.
