An Amazing Friend

Good friends are hard to come by. You can spend your whole life looking for a friend you can turn to, someone you can trust with anything and everything. A friend who would give his/her life for you.
I have such a friend. I have known him for quite some time. Whenever I've had a problem or just wanted to talk, he always listens without judgement. No matter what time of day (or night) I call, he always answers. If I'm having relationship issues, he's my go-to-guy. I just feel so blessed to have someone like him in my life.
There are times though, I wish I was a better friend. Times when he needs me either to listen or to do something for him, but I've been either too busy with work, school or my own problems to follow through. I don't feel like I've given him the respect and the love he deserves.
Do you have just an amazing friend? Someone who would give their life for you? Would you give your life for them?
I hope and pray when that time comes, I will give my life for my friend. He is after all Jesus Christ :) And I love that guy a lot.
