The Blue Shallow
A ripple for every moment

The Blue Shallow. Even though everything appears to be shallow and simple, there is so much more depth. The waters of life are more dark blue than anything. Nothing is transparent. There is so much more under the surface...

Wild Cherry Mocha Cooler

Wave 942

The 28th of June, 2009 at 01:25 PM

My first time having a wild cherry mocha cooler at Caribou, it's good. It isn't actually a menu option, but I saw it on one of those "fancy" chalkboard signs they have standing around. Despite being delicious, I don't think I will get it again. At 5.25 for a large, the price terrorizes my "budget". Besides, all their drinks seem to blend into one after 10 or more sips anyways.

Exciting things are coming up: Fourth of July, Alex and Mykala's wedding, and Sonshine 2009. July is my birthday month as well. I don't have big plans, in fact my parents are not around on my birthday and Kellie works until 8:00 in the evening. It's going to be pretty "low key."

As I'm growing older, I start thinking of the future more. I'm going to be 27 this year, twenty-seven. I used to think 27 was old, but I've felt old for the last 5 years whether or not I believe it.

I have to look forward to things like buying a house, having a family, planning vacations, and living my life with purpose. Lately I just feel like I've been floating down the lazy river, going with the flow without lending myself to any particular direction.

Well that's all I got here today my friends. Hope you have a wonderful weekend in this beautiful weather (Minnesotans).

John, I was thinking you should do "bleushallow.com" for your food reviews and thoughts.

HAHAH!

But seriously, do it.

Wonderful idea Alex. But I really don’t review too much food... or salad for that matter :) Otherwise I may consider it.
