The Blue Shallow
A ripple for every moment

The Blue Shallow. Even though everything appears to be shallow and simple, there is so much more depth. The waters of life are more dark blue than anything. Nothing is transparent. There is so much more under the surface...

Psycho Suzi's

Wave 938

Thursday

The 4th of June, 2009 at 11:42 AM

If you are looking for a good time, nice atmosphere, and bizarre/interesting drinks then you might just have to try Psycho Suzi's Motor Lounge in Minneapolis. Their drink menu is actually longer than their food menu and all the menus contain random comical outbursts sure to keep you laughing into the middle of the night. And don't forget to read the rules on the back of the drink menu, you wouldn't want to get kicked out for fondling the tiki torches.

Kellie decided to go here for her birthday dinner that her cousin Joe and boyfriend Brett so graciously hosted. We all had an awesome time. It's fun to get outside your suburbian bubble and try something new every once and awhile. One of these days I wish to get back there and have another great night.

I'm a fruity drink person, and I ordered a Coconaut. Which supposedly was a cross between a white russian and a pina colada. I don't know what it was about that drink but I really liked it. So i'm going to try to concot that drink later tonight. Here are the presumed ingredients (Pina colada mix, pineapple juice, Captain, and potentially Malibu). I'm thinking there might have been some Kahlua somewhere in there too which means I have to run to the liquor store too. Maybe I'll get it right after the 3rd or 4th try, or maybe I'll just too gone to remember :)
