Change
A ripple for every moment

Summer scent trickles off the fragile leaves, color washes away in the autumn breeze. Yellow, orange and crimson red, fall with pride from where they're shed. Ripples in the water, too small to be seen. Lost as quickly in the motion as the fading green. A switch in the current, a swell in the tide. Change on the surface but perfect inside.

Surgery Marathon

Wave 919

Saturday

8th of November, 2008 at 12:15.12 pm

Greetings friends from my period of absence. I had surgery on my wrist 2 days ago. I had a ganglion cyst which was causing me pain, so I had it removed. It marks the first surgery I've ever had. First time I've ever been on Vicodin as well. All in all, it was a good first experience. But this splint on my left wrist is really getting to me....

I actually had some interesting surgeries of my own this week. A cystotomy, toe amputation, umblicial hernia repair and a cryptorchid castration. I think I made my technician a little wigged out when I was pulling out the surgery book to read over the procedure as the patient was on the table. In any case, all the surgeries went well. They were just stressful.

Well, this is about all my wrist can handle for now. I will keep you all posted. Pictures will be updated soon!

Hope you recover quickly!  Also, I tried to show Mykala the old pictures of your ganglion cyst on your injury page, but they aren’t there!  I miss the old ganglion cyst pictures!

Good call Alex. Actually, I realized that error a long time ago and never got around to fixing it. It’s fixed now! Yay. And for everyone who didn’t know where they were:
