Cold

A ripple for every moment

Frigid sky scattered here and there. Shadows watch mountains who are not easily scared. Snowflakes fall as time stands still, while sun's warmth trembles under the treacherous chill. Depths run thin as the ice grows, and blue meets white in the blue shallow. Everything covered perfectly in a blanket, one that is cold and doesn't need to fake it.

I am a firm believer in talent acquired by practice and experience. Experience is necessary in many situations, whether it be in school, relationships, or in life. Nothing prepares you better than practice with mistakes along the way. You make them and you learn from them. I'm convinced that experiences will make me into an awesome veterinarian.

I just completed another spay (ovariohysterectomy) today. This procedure took approximately 50 minutes, beating my old time of over an hour. Surgery is not a race by any means, but it does aid the patient's recovery if you are expedient. Today my goal was visualization. I figured if I can easily see everything I am doing... then everything should go much more smoothly and quicker. I was right and very proud of myself at the conclusion of the procedure. *Pats himself on the back*

God is shaping me every day. Every interaction and moment is a precious stepping stone in my little personality garden. I am currently working at a cat clinic in the cities. I've had the opportunity to see many different people and many different personalities. Even though these stark differences exist, there is one constant.. each and every person loves their pet. I find this truly amazing.

God gave everyone a gift. How we choose to use it is considered free will. Me? I'm going to use my gift to help those little loved ones. :)
