Cold
A ripple for every moment

Frigid sky scattered here and there. Shadows watch mountains who are not easily scared. Snowflakes fall as time stands still, while sun's warmth trembles under the treacherous chill. Depths run thin as the ice grows, and blue meets white in the blue shallow. Everything covered perfectly in a blanket, one that is cold and doesn't need to fake it.

Wave 872

Monday

The 19th of February, 2007 at 02:38 PM

My car grumbled to a start at the turn of my key, I rolled off the driveway onto my snow-melted street. Rounding the corner a truck invaded my view, carrying garbage with a bunch of recyclables too. Wondering caught my neglient attention, on teddy bears from a different dimension. Hanging battered, dirty and overly soiled; once belonged to children who were probably spoiled. What happend to their little run of luck, to end up on the back of a garbage truck? I wonder.

I'm currently sitting in a lecture I've already attended. When I'm done I'll go back to my time machine and return to my daily routine.

I've been overly tired today. I finished yet another class this morning, turning in a final and my future aspirations with it. I have another final and a writing assignment on friday. I predicted this week would be very dark for me, seeing that I would be at school all day and studying all night. Things are piling up.

My thoughts are disorganized and most likely incoherent. My generalized sleep deprivation and endless responsibilities control me. Have a good monday.
