Cold
A ripple for every moment

Frigid sky scattered here and there. Shadows watch mountains who are not easily scared. Snowflakes fall as time stands still, while sun's warmth trembles under the treacherous chill. Depths run thin as the ice grows, and blue meets white in the blue shallow. Everything covered perfectly in a blanket, one that is cold and doesn't need to fake it.

Class, Day 3

Wave 867

Wednesday

The 10th of January, 2007 at 02:30 PM

I'm sitting in the men's locker room, on my laptop, waiting for my bovine local block anesthesia lab to begin. Today I forgot to do a homework assignment worth almost 9% of my grade. I quickly but carefully finished it in class, I don't know how much credit I will get, we will see.

I added another class to my small list of classes this semester. I was one credit shy of the requirment so I had to add a course called small ruminants. It doesn't meet until the end of February, so I'm not too upset about it.

I'm just bored right now. The whole concept of jabbing a cow in the side with a 14 gauge needle isn't something I really want to do, or something that I'm enthusiastic about. But, it has to get done. I guess they put the cattle in the horse stocks. This should be fun.

That’s what my surgeon’s nurse thought at first.  But he got used to it.  Ouch....
