Cold
A ripple for every moment

Frigid sky scattered here and there. Shadows watch mountains who are not easily scared. Snowflakes fall as time stands still, while sun's warmth trembles under the treacherous chill. Depths run thin as the ice grows, and blue meets white in the blue shallow. Everything covered perfectly in a blanket, one that is cold and doesn't need to fake it.

Keeping Busy

Wave 817

Tuesday

The 6th of June, 2006 at 03:27 PM

I have found comfortable solitude in the presence of others. Keeping busy lately means keeping alive. Continuous tasks keep building up on a short agenda leaving little time for thinking and worrying. Everything is so well-planned and yet, not planned at all.

Basketball has found a way back into my schedule, keeping my body tan and my skin bruised. I fell down a few days ago on the pavement, sliding on my sternum and scraping up my knee. My knee still stings but my sternum suffered no damage. Sunshine has been building my stamina and cardio, however I have tapered off my priority to run. Races are approaching and I haven't done anything to prepare, I think it is time to work running back into the schedule.

Time has been well spent with friends on the weekends and even during the weekdays. Not too much, not too little. However, I always look forward to doing something each night. Jill is back from Vegas now, maybe I could hang out with her sometime soon.

Goals for the following few weeks: Begin training, start recording, work till collapsing, breathe.
