I've had a rather eventful weekend. I wish I had a little more time for studying but family comes first. Friday night I went out to eat with my family from Wisconsin. We went to my grandma's favorite restaurant, Sunsets. Fish was good, so was the company. I went home and played some basketball at the park with Tony and Josh. I went home afterwards to play basketball with Steve and Alex. We just had a fun time chatting and catching up. Pretty soon it was dark and time for us little kids to turn in. Alex went home, Steve worked on his Kaplan stuff, and I went downstairs to set up my audio equipment for the first time.
I've had all my audio recording equipment since tuesday but friday was the first night I could play with it. After a couple hours of configuring my audio software and playing with my mixer, I had it where I wanted it. Unfortunately the clock wasn't where I wanted it to be and I had to go to bed. I didn't get a chance to do any recording.
I woke up a little later saturday morning, my throat a little sore from the singing the night before. I went to cleaning my room, I promised my mom I would have it "cleaned" by Easter. I finished it but things are mainly just pushed into corners. I went to get my haircut afterwards and then went to work. Alex was waiting for me in the parking lot with Pride and Prejudice. We did a sweet moving pass in our cars. I worked with Chris, I think he enjoys working with me. Either that, or he is good at pretending. I went to my grandma's house for Easter Dinner Number 1.
We had ham, potatoes, the works. Everything was good and my grandma seemed to eat enough food. We watched the Twins game after dinner, what a game! No one would've thought we would beat the Yankees in the bottom of the ninth. Steve and I left my grandma's house. My mom was singing at Guardian Angels and he wanted to hear her sing, so I dropped him off there.
On my way back home Stefani called me up. I investigated Caribou's pre-Easter hours and found that they were still open till 11:00. I met up with her there and we just talked about life for awhile. I don't know what got into me, but I told her I would watch a movie with her. I knew I was to wake up for the 6:00 genesis service but I figured I could do it. So we rented Jarhead and started it around 11:30. It was an interesting movie, but not as good as I had thought it would be. After the movie she left and I went to bed. Not too often that you get to hang out with an old friend, so I made time.
My alarm went off at 5:30. I woke up, my throat and head were pounding. I continued to wake up at 15 minute intervals. Soon it was well after 6:00, I wasn't going obviously. I didn't feel good either. My next plan was to help Melissa at work at 7:30. Pretty soon it was 7:45 and I was still in bed. I had to get up... finally I started moving and I got there around 8:00. She was getting some dog's food ready, she had headphones on and didn't hear me come in, how could I resist?... I scared the crap out of her.
We finished rather quickly, before I needed to be at Guardian Angels. I went there for the 9:00 service and promptly over to Woodbury Lutheran for the 11:00 service. Faces I didn't think I would see this morning included Matt, Shayla, and Nikki. I had never seen Matt and Shayla at Genesis, so that was new for me. I expected Nikki to be at the 6:00 service, but she wasn't. So I talked with all of them and then I was on my way home to clean a little before company came over.
Relatives from my mom's side arrived around 2:00 and my grandparents were already here. We made conversation, had some wine, ate some dinner... it was a good time. We had our Easter egg hunt. Man am I bad at that! Terrible. Last person to finish three years in a row. After the Easter egg hunt Steve went on his way back to Duluth with Margaret and Brian. My grandparents left because they were getting tired. My dad, Dan, and I watched the Twins game and the ladies went for a walk. Soon the gathering came to a close and everyone departed.
I fell asleep on the floor and woke up a couple hours ago with incredibly painful tonsils. I took some Aleve and the pain has went away. Hopefully it will be better tomorrow, I need to be strong and healthy the next couple weeks here. I know this is a long post and not very thought-provoking, but this weekend has been very busy. Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. Goodnight.

Confession: I did not read your post before commenting.
Complaint: YOUR EASTER "MOOD" HAS NO WATER IN IT!!!!! *Ahem* I remember a certain individual who specifically told me that every blue shallow image for the main page MUST have water in it. Come to think of it, your hungry one doesn’t have water either.... John John John *shakes head in shame*

I’m fully aware of my deviation from prior dreams. At least you are honest, there wasn’t much exciting news herein. It was hard to even make an Easter theme, so be happy. And if you are getting picky, I have three designs without "water" persay in them. If you don’t think snow is water, you could say I have four designs without water. Whatever the case, I did what I felt was necessary for the occasion. Water, in essence, is the universal solvent. It is present in almost everything, including chocolate, flowers, and of course, ice cream cones. Thank you for the input though.

Well well well. Don’t we sound a bit testy? It was just an observation, and maybe a slight realization that the real reason you told me that any design had to have water in it was so that I wouldn’t attempt to make a "horny" design... or not. I agree, water is the universal solvent, but it does have it’s forms, and in ice cream, easter eggs and apparently flowers (don’t remember that one) neither of those forms are present. Snow, however, is water — don’t question me on this, I have a Geology 1001 lab packet with a cool looking water cycle circle that will back me up on this one.
So, here is my proposed solution: a rain drop (or watering for the purpose of keeping the flowers more alive drop) on a flower petal, the ice cream cone accompanied by a scooper that has ice crystals on it from the cold, and the eggs hidden behind a bush on a river bank. Ehh? Ehh? Either way, I forgive you.
Oh, and my mom is still interested in borrowing "The Constant Gardener"

I think you should make a horny design... It would be fun.

Just so you know, John, Matt and I were going to Genesis long before you started... we just don’t go as much anymore because of the drive. Maybe it was new for US to see YOU there! :)

Make Blue October your next band of the week. Try their newest album "Foiled," featuring (in my mind) the songs "Hate Me" and "Congratulations."
Oh, and love the easter eggs.

Lots of things to address here.
Mel: Humans are 70% water. That said, most things in nature and in the supermarket are also.
Amber: Yes, the horny design would be fun...
Nikki: But I wouldn’t want to have it up all the time ;)
Shayla: Fully aware you guys attended Genesis service, I spoke to Matt about this when we worked Sunday mornings together. So maybe it was both!
Alex: Still haven’t had the chance to listen to them.
Me: I feel like a doctor!

Don’t talk about "having it up all the time".... AHHH... *shakes head to clear mind*

See, they’re part water, but not water itself. There IS a difference. And, if the difference, doesn’t matter, or you disagree that there is one no harm done, because it makes it that much easier for me to create a horny design. Do you prefer a dildo or lube? ;-)
P.S. Sorry Nikki, but it’s like John, too hard to resist.

Well, I thought you were calling me a girl. So I went off that assumption based on your poor grammactical paragraph earlier. No offense, but that was h a r d to read and apparently I didn’t "get it" anyways. Don’t be mad, be happy!
