Cold
A ripple for every moment

Frigid sky scattered here and there. Shadows watch mountains who are not easily scared. Snowflakes fall as time stands still, while sun's warmth trembles under the treacherous chill. Depths run thin as the ice grows, and blue meets white in the blue shallow. Everything covered perfectly in a blanket, one that is cold and doesn't need to fake it.

The End of Another

Wave 734

Wednesday

The 30th of November, 2005 at 12:07 PM

As another dreary Minnesota month fades out of view, another one rolls into it's place. November ends today, December starts tomorrow. Where did it go?

A very good question to the few who remember it. Not a very eventful month for me. I felt like Amber's Halloween party was just a week or two ago, but it wasn't. Somewhere between school, basketball, and Thanksgiving... I lost track of time. We did however meet the only goal of this month, to arrive at 6000 visitors for this website. Trivial at best.

They say I have walking pneumonia. I know it well from the days when I used to play basketball in slush-ful driveways. Tylenol cold is devastating. It consistently knocked out any flair I had this month, and left me with a dizzy aftermath. For this reason, I've stopped taking it. When I heard the rumble in my chest a couple mornings ago, I knew it wouldn't be long before I would have to see the doctor. But I didn't, and my immune system has appeared to kick in. I hardly have anything left in my lungs besides a trace cough here and there. Yuck.

I think we will resume evening exercises soon. Of the few fans I have, you should know that I pulled a groin muscle making my exercises incredibly difficult to perform. However, to reach the yearly goal of 100, we need to get back to it. I can't wait to resume basketball next week, I'm so excited! And I'm not being sarcastic.

I have a test tomorrow and a test tuesday. They will be difficult, but not impossible. I will be ready, or as ready as I can be. Bring it on.

I really think it’s time to stop talking about your groin.    But that’s just my opinion. :)

What if I like talking about my groin? Everyone’s got some important muscles in there, we can’t just neglect it. What if I spent two weeks talking about my thumb, don’t you think my other fingers would get jealous? When I’m in pain I’m going to call attention to it, just like I would if my kid (cat) were in pain. It’s important.
