Cold
A ripple for every moment

Frigid sky scattered here and there. Shadows watch mountains who are not easily scared. Snowflakes fall as time stands still, while sun's warmth trembles under the treacherous chill. Depths run thin as the ice grows, and blue meets white in the blue shallow. Everything covered perfectly in a blanket, one that is cold and doesn't need to fake it.

Relaxing

Wave 730

Sunday

The 20th of November, 2005 at 05:43 PM

One of the first weekends where I really didn't need to do any studying or homework, I relaxed. And it felt good.

Friday night I hung out with Maria for a little. We went to Target and over to Dairy Queen. I think she just wanted to hang out with me so she could get me to compliment her on her hair. I did. And no, I really don't think that. Afterwards I went to the new Harry Potter movie. Opening night is always fun. It was a good movie, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I must say, drinking coffee for the first time to stay up for it was worth it.

I worked saturday after five hours of sleep, but it was alright. I went to my grandparents' afterwards and took a nap. I went out to eat with my mom to Chili's. Had some more wine. Went to Melissa's house afterwards. We played 90's Trivial Pursuit. Board games like that make me feel stupid. We had some great laughs though. We watched an episode of Stargate and I was on my way home around one in the morning.

Woke up to my phone rining this morning. Maria was on the streets of Minneapolis and wanted extra clothes and blankets. All I had to say was... "What?" I got ready for Genesis and gathered some stuff together for her, called her up and she said she didn't need it anymore. Argh. Anyways, I went to Genesis. Message was sex talk 2, we'll leave that for a later post. After church I visited the grandparents and helped out around the house. I went to Justin's to watch the last and final Nascar race. I placed 2nd in the league to Richard. Close race though for everyone really. It was a good time.

Well, just waiting for Nikki to get here now. A little 500 before this weekend comes to a close. I'll have something interesting next time around. Just a nice little weekend, sometimes we need those.

Don’t worry, John. Although I may never call you back, I do kick your butt at 500... and that’s something. ;) Hope you have a great week and I will see you Friday.
