Cold
A ripple for every moment

Frigid sky scattered here and there. Shadows watch mountains who are not easily scared. Snowflakes fall as time stands still, while sun's warmth trembles under the treacherous chill. Depths run thin as the ice grows, and blue meets white in the blue shallow. Everything covered perfectly in a blanket, one that is cold and doesn't need to fake it.

Laziness Entertains Studying

Wave 702

Thursday

The 22nd of September, 2005 at 08:57 PM

I have 14 pages left to study before next tuesday. I need to go over all my notes again. I need to study the old exams. However, I haven't finished more than thirty pages in the last couple weeks. I know I need to do it, the question is... will I?

I was talking to my second cousin in-law before lab today. She knew about my grandma and I filled her in some more. My grandma went into the hospital right when school started. Since then, I've been having a difficult time focusing on anything school-related. It's hard.

She is eating and sleeping better now that she is home. However, the fire in her eyes has dwindled. I think she is constantly thinking about her health. She just needs to let go and live what life she has left. It is hard to sit with her at dinner when she is not her usual self. It is really hard.

I've been stopping by every night to check in on them. They enjoy my visits and I enjoy their company. It is the least I can do to show them how much they mean to me. I love you two.

Besides my regular visits, my school, and infrequent exercise... life has been good. I particularly enjoy my late evening phone calls. I would lose sleep just to have them... and I do, thank you very much. No seriously, I wouldn't trade those minutes for anything. And verizon says they're free. Those liars! I say they're priceless.

I like the scheme.  A lot.  Life is good, eat cake.
