Cold
A ripple for every moment

Frigid sky scattered here and there. Shadows watch mountains who are not easily scared. Snowflakes fall as time stands still, while sun's warmth trembles under the treacherous chill. Depths run thin as the ice grows, and blue meets white in the blue shallow. Everything covered perfectly in a blanket, one that is cold and doesn't need to fake it.

    Another One For The Books

    Wave 545

    Tuesday

The 30th of November, 2004 at 12:44 PM

Just another monday for the books. From nearly failing a class to cleaning up Ariel's vomit, the day went from bad to worse.

I woke up and went to school. I went to my mailbox and picked up my clinical skills test. I just barely passed (71.8%). I felt I did much better when I took it, I guess I really don't know anything. Anyways, this means I nearly failed the class because we had only that one test.

I attended the remainder of my lectures, only physically. I posted to the website, I worked out some financial things, and got some sleeping in. I went to radiology lab 2 hours early so I could get back home early. I went to work instead of home. I helped Jill and my dad clear out rooms for the demolition crew that is coming later today. I printed off the new resident letters. I helped Leah with them for awhile.

I went home and pulled in my garage. It was still reasonably light and I decided to put up our christmas lights. I spent about an hour working on the house until my fingers were frozen to the bone. We ran out of green icicle lights and had to use white icicle lights for the remainder of the house. So half the strings on the house are white, half are green... it looks hideous to a perfectionist.

I went inside and ate dinner, took a bath to warm up, and watched some monday night football... stupid packers. I watched some TV until I heard the classic up-chuck noise animals make. There was Ariel right at the bottom of the stairs puking up something. I cleaned it up and thought that was good clue to go to bed. I went to bed and had a small discussion online. And that just about ended a typical monday for me.

It's tuesday now and not alot in store for the remainder of the day and week. I guess the only plus is that I don't have class till 1. I ran some early morning errands, did some demolition myself at work, and did my routine slacking. I might go for a run later. I need a run.

I might update later, but my mood thus far today hasn't been too great. So I can't promise anything. I did get a poetry update in yesterday and for the oblivious people, changed the header to my last year winter header (because I'm lazy). Until whenever. bye.
