Cold
A ripple for every moment

Frigid sky scattered here and there. Shadows watch mountains who are not easily scared. Snowflakes fall as time stands still, while sun's warmth trembles under the treacherous chill. Depths run thin as the ice grows, and blue meets white in the blue shallow. Everything covered perfectly in a blanket, one that is cold and doesn't need to fake it.

    Thanksgiving Leftovers

    Saturday

The 27th of November, 2004 at 02:03 PM

I've been gone from this place since wednesday evening. It has been a busy past couple nights so I apologize for my absence. I'm sure you all didn't miss me that much. But I will talk about the holiday and everything that is left over.

Steve came home wednesday night. I spent sometime with him. I also went over to Justin's house and we watched Elf. Richard was there, had been a long time since I had seen him. We talked, played some pool, it was a good time.

Thanksgiving I worked. I decided to get to work way early in the morning so I could walk earlier in the afternoon. I got there around 6:15 to walk dogs. We finished around 10 and I went home. I fell asleep till 12:30 and it was right back to work. At 2:30 I left and Matt finished up. The family was all at the house. And the food was awesome. I talked with my cousins, and my aunts and uncles. It was just a great time altogether. I sucked it up at ping pong but it was alright, for the love of the game! Around six everybody had departed and I took a nap. I woke up to Mike Citak's call. I went over to his house with Steve. Steve and I had a deep conversation about life... mine in the past few months in particular. We watched the Rocky Horror Picture Show, that was disturbing. We talked about college and the like, it was a relaxing way to end the evening.

Friday I worked in the morning again. I dropped my car off at Heppner's to get waxed around 8:00. I ran from there to work. I worked with Susan until about noon and I got my car. It looked beautiful. I went home and did various cleaning and other things. I went to my grandparents's house with Steve to visit with them. Before I knew it, 7:30 was rolling around. People came and went, it was a very odd party. But I had fun and I hope others did too. The people in attendance, for how ever long it may have been were, Steve, Justin, Amber, Matt, Shayla, Matt Pett., Leah, Mike, Chris, Richard, Elizabeth, Nils, Matthew, Nikki and Maria. DDR lasted longer than i thought, but the movie was at 10:30. We watched School of Rock. A nice movie and replayable if people have already seen it. I didn't get any input on which movie people wanted to watch... and no one really brought any... so I decided... for once. Anyways, things went rather smoothly, despite Matthew stealing a bunch of our food.

Today is saturday and I worked early again. I worked with the techs at 7:00 this morning, I was the first "tech" to get there. Work was slow and dragged on. I fell asleep sitting in a chair twice. I'm just really worn down by today. Steve and I plan to go to church tonight at GA. That way I can get some extra sleep tomorrow morning. I also plan to go to the woodbury lutheran again for the worship service. Once again I'm going to mind my own business, so please don't feel offended if I don't actively seek you out. I'm just going to sing and worship.

The poem count is jumping here and there. I know I promised a poetry update a few days ago and I never got to it. I'm sorry for that. I also wanted to fix some errors. I've either been too busy, too tired, or just not around. I will get to it sometime here before the weekend is over. I will make sure to tell you whats been put where. I've been looking through my poems. I wrote some of them such a long time ago. I found that I write best when I'm writing about other people. There are four girls I've ever written poems for, and I consider some of those my best poems. And every time I write a new one, I feel like they get better and better. I love writing. I think you all know that.
