Heh, yeah. Part 2 of today.
Well class finished while I listened to just about nothing. Read some emails, talked with Jill and Leah on the phone, and was on my to work. I got out of my car at work and looked down at the ground as I stepped out. A penny was laying right there. I had been thinking about one all morning, thinking I would see one on the U of M campus. Then I remembered pretty much everyone there was poor, and there wouldn't be a penny spared. But hey, it's woodbury. I slowly got out of my car and watched it. I picked it up and put it in my pocket. I know grandma, things are getting better. Refer to post: http://www.blueshallow.com/day.php?id=524.
I walked into work and talked with Jill briefly. She asked me if I wanted to go to lunch. I said sure and we were on our way, running errands here and there. We went to Wendy's. Apparently Wendy's has just started a new combo deal. You get to pick your side.... soooo cool! So you can pick a baked potato, fries, salad, etc. It was a nifty deal. Jill and I got the same thing except I got a salad and she got a potato. About half-way through eating she realized I ate her cheeseburger (she asked for cheese). I'm sorry! We talked about life and the confines of it and then it was time for her to escort me back to work.
I decided to paint. Yes, thats right. John decided to paint the same room once again. Not only did papa want Eg-Shell sheen the first time, then flat the second time.... he decided in the end he actually wanted Eg-shell on the walls so I had to repaint it again. I painted about 75% of the room and was out of there.
I went home to run. It was about 5:15 and for anyone who spends time outside would know that it gets dark at 5. I was running through rather dismal, forested areas... only under the direction of distant house lights. I've ran/rollerbladed those trails a billion times, so I wasn't about to stumble and fall into the crick or the lake. It was beautiful. I can't begin to tell you what it feels like to run under the stars. There is no one around but you and the heavens. I ran along with my "brand new" cd/mp3 player, blasting some alternative rock, singing out every once and awhile, the run was so therapeutic. It helped me realize that everything was going to be ok. I got home, winded, and couldn't eat much. But I felt better.
Now a couple hours of studying awaits me before I hit the sack early. Good night to all my fellow fans, and sweet dreams.
