I have been accepted at the University of Minnesota's College of Veterinary Medicine. Although my admission is still provisional, I will get in. Provisional means I need to pass all my pre-reqs with a C or better. I have never gotten anything lower than a B in a class in my life. I think I'm set.
So that was this morning. The rest of the day and this week entails more work for me. Including finishing the online credit validation system for the animal hospital, the clinic tour, my website updates (poetry and pictures section), and namely homework. I would like to finish the second book in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy but I fear time is running thin after all this.
Yesterday was DDR at Maplewood Mall with Mike, Matt and Shayla. I successfully wasted over 10$ in our outing. Not before I could play some quality doubles mode and some great single player songs with the peeps. I did get thoroughly sweaty which was rather gross. DDR Extreme Machine is "my gym" as Mike put it. Mike and I split a Pizza sub later which was good. We talked about mountain dew points, winning a harrier jet and how difficult it would be to do it in the backseat of it. I made a comment that if it were to work, you could say, "We're doing it mach 3 baby!" I went to my g-ma's house after the DDR extravaganza. She made me a very light dinner and I went home. Mike called and I went over to his house. I got there right as Chris C. did. I haven't seen Chris in... well a couple years. It was cool to hang out with him again. We played some Bond for the PS2, SSX Tricky 3, Goldeneye for n64, Bomberman 64 for n64, and Mario Kart for n64. I couldn't get into any sort of groove until Mario Kart. I'm sure I've played way more mario kart than anyone who was there so I had the upperhand in that game. As for goldeneye. Well, that just sucked because the vertical looking was inversed from the way I used to play. So I kept shooting in the wrong direction or couldn't aim fast enough... It was good fun. O yeah, I shouldn't forget to mention that Chris, Matt and I dove into Where's Waldo for quite awhile. We found everything in the book, or what was left of the book (some pages were torn out). We found everything except one guy. It still bothers me.
Today is filled with more and more work as stated earlier. I think I'm going to go home and finish my chores. Then I'm going to finish my writing class reading. I don't think I will finish all that before I have to come back to work but I can try. Matt may come over tonight to play that Bond game that is seemingly addicting. I tried to stay away from video games but I've been unsuccessful thus far this break. Well, I need to get going if I want to get anything done today. Adios everyone.
I remember...
I remember when I used to go to a daycare over in Wedgewood. On this day, Loraine would give me green milk. My mom would give me green milk, green eggs when I got home later in the day. It was just a time of green everything. I miss those days when life was less complicated and more simple like green milk. Why can't life just be simple like green milk again? Then again, green milk is kindof unappealing. So I guess, why can't life just be simple anymore?
