Cold
A ripple for every moment

Frigid sky scattered here and there. Shadows watch mountains who are not easily scared. Snowflakes fall as time stands still, while sun's warmth trembles under the treacherous chill. Depths run thin as the ice grows, and blue meets white in the blue shallow. Everything covered perfectly in a blanket, one that is cold and doesn't need to fake it.

    Tuesday

The 2nd of March, 2004 at 01:54 PM

John is single. As he has been for a good couple years. I don't think I was ever occupied. This may settle any biting questions on your mind. How does it feel? Well, the same as it always has I guess. It's just kindof pronounced lately. So if you hang out with me and I'm down; This is the reason. If I'm not eccentric, making obscene remarks, or just acting plain insane... it is not because I am having a Sprite withdrawl problem. It's just because my eyes are more open.

Most of you can just close the window now. You've heard all you came to hear. I guess I will begin a reiteration of the weekend. Most of it people won't care about. Despite my patience and waiting this weekend for certain events, I did finish quite a few things.

I guess I'll start with friday. Besides finishing a good portion of my lab report for my microbiology class and a reading response paper for my advanced expository writing class... I finished next to nothing. I worked. That was fun. I got bit pretty hard by a cage aggressive west highland terrier. He left some nice scars on my cripled right arm. They will stay there for I'm thinking a good couple weeks, if not a month. I went to Justin's for poker night. We had a two newcomers. Rob and Nikki. It was good fun, I don't think I came out on top for either of the two rounds, but I came out ahead by the end of the night. Justin remarked that I probably have the best record for winnings over the entirity of the poker nights. I played on the ddr metal pad before leaving. It was to be the last time I would touch it for awhile. I grew quite attached to its beauty in its vacation at my house. Justin also helped me burn a dvd for the pet expo which was Saturday and Sunday. My mind really wasn't with poker night, but I must say it was therapeutic.

Saturday I had to work with the techs. My shift began at 7 and I worked till 2:30. I went home and worked on the HRAH website till the late hours of the night. I finished a Pet Care Library which needed to be finished by 3/1/04. I actually finished it Sunday night around 12:30 AM. Saturday was rather boring. Lots of website coding helped me take my mind off things. Almost completely. I did play some basketball and ran a couple miles to help relieve my mind also.

Sunday. The first sunday in a long time where I didn't need to work in the morning. I was estatic to go to late (11:00) mass. It was awesome. I went to church. Got home did most of my chores. Went to the Pet Expo with the Suburban. The Pet Expo was interesting. It wasn't as busy as saturday I'm told, but it was intriguing to see so many animal lovers in one place. I am told I saw a famous dog. The dog from Man vs. Beast. He was a black lab and he could make a long jump 28 feet. I guess he beat the man who could only jump 27. It was cool. Loading up the suburban posed a problem. Sarah just said, "Just BREAK IT!" Thus my fist went through many sheets of pink foam which my dad got mad at me later for. Sunday night was the finishing of the library and the launch. It went rather well.

Monday I finished the rest of my chores, put finishing touches on my lab report and imagery reading response paper. I did some reading, sent some discussion questions. I went to work. I played some DDR. I played doubles mode, heavy mode. I only have four or five songs that I still have B's on. I will never beat max 300.

Tuesday is today. Lets just say the first half of today went as expected. Because there are caucuses tonight, I only have a 30 min class at 5:30. I then get to carpool with Justin, and I will drive us home. I will then promptly go to the Y to play some adult pick-up. Something I haven't done in awhile. I hope Santos isn't there.... but wait.. he's the bouncer.. he has to be....
