Cold
A ripple for every moment

Frigid sky scattered here and there. Shadows watch mountains who are not easily scared. Snowflakes fall as time stands still, while sun's warmth trembles under the treacherous chill. Depths run thin as the ice grows, and blue meets white in the blue shallow. Everything covered perfectly in a blanket, one that is cold and doesn't need to fake it.

    The First Day Of School

    Wave 397

    Tuesday

The 20th of January, 2004 at 01:46 PM

I used to remember how the first day of school was such a big thing. New clothes I had to have. New shoes I had to wear. Familiar faces to be seen. And it all melted together into one crazy shindig. Maybe not a shindig, but more like working myself up for nothing. I have to say, its great to have memories of times when this day, the first day of school meant so much to everyone.

Today doesn't mean that much. Wearing all the same old clothes. Just casual shoes. And seeing some familiar faces. But it isn't at all what it used to be. I'm trying hard now to switch up my schedule. For some known reason, I took a late class. I really don't want to take that class anymore, I really don't want to have school all day tuesday and thursday just so I can have a light monday, wednesday and friday. It may just be as easy to switch it (Genetics), if there was an opening. But for now, I need to go to that class tonight, just in case I can't make it in the other two full classes.

Because today is just not as eventful as it should be. I'm going to tell you a little about yesterday. I finished more on monday than I had in the past week. I finished my chores, putting x-mas lights away, wishing steve off, emailing buynshop, mailing phone rebate, paying credit card bill, going to work, practicing clarinet, going to clarinet lesson, grading my mom's papers and finally concluding the night cleaning out my hotmail inbox. It was a very very busy day. I'm proud of myself for that reason, to get in the zone before school starts.

I sit here now, in front of an IT computer I don't have an account for, next to Justin thinking what I should do. I really don't want to go to my late class. I just want to buy my books and go home. I really, truly do not know what to do. I think I will attend this class... just once. And I just hope I can get into one of those other classes. This would be cool for two reasons. I wouldn't have to drive every day and I get done earlier. Not cool because I would need to get a bus pass.

Well, I've got to go now. To Coffman to buy some books, the to St. Paul for my last class. Then home to eat some dinner and do some homework. I most possibly will be online tonight so I will see you guys there... adios amigos.
