Cold
A ripple for every moment

Frigid sky scattered here and there. Shadows watch mountains who are not easily scared. Snowflakes fall as time stands still, while sun's warmth trembles under the treacherous chill. Depths run thin as the ice grows, and blue meets white in the blue shallow. Everything covered perfectly in a blanket, one that is cold and doesn't need to fake it.

    A Week

    Wave 392

    Saturday

The 10th of January, 2004 at 12:41 AM

How much can change in my life in one week? Nothing at all. Every night seems to fall down to one event and my days are spent sleeping. Regardless, I'm here to talk about them. I don't get me. As you will soon realize, my recent life has been static as it always has been. Always on standby waiting for something, or just permanently waiting.

You all know how terrible my memory is so this much I can say. I will only highlight the down and the up points of the last week. Right now, as I'm typing I can't think of any down points, but I'm sure one or two will pop up.

I believe I left you all of you on saturday. Sunday is naturally what follows. Anyone who is close to me knows I work every sunday morning so I guess that is where I was in the morning. As for the rest of the day, it is rather foggy but I do remember spending 3.5 hours at caribou with stef. It was a good time. I never really open up to many people but I did. It felt good to say what was on my mind for once. Connie wasn't able to meet up with us so we decided to just stay in caribou and talk till close. Stef went back to school on monday afternoon so it was the last chance I had to spend some time with her before she left. After caribou we parted until possibly spring break, but then again she said she might be going on a trip then. All in all, it was a refreshing night which ended at my house with a bunch of people at it. It always ends that way.

Monday. Can't remember much happening here. Somewhere around the beginning of this week I paid my 900 dollar credit card bill and my 350 dollar insurance premium. I still have yet to pay for the y which is around 400 dollars or something. I should just say that I will not have enough money for tuition. Either I pay in installments and get incredibly lucky earning money at the clinic. Or it's an early trip to the savings I wanted to save for vet school. I hate the budget defecit in this state.

Usually monday night is the onset of a clarinet lesson. Unfortunately one of Greg's relatives passed away. I would like to extend my deepest prayers to him and his family during this time. Due to the missed lesson, this marks a three missed lesson streak. First of all, this is bad because I haven't practiced. Second, because I have a recital next sunday I guess. And third, because we still don't have a piano player. I believe the recital will get cancelled once again and be moved to April. We can't push it back much further because I'm gradually losing interest in the piece, although it is fun.

Tuesday and thursday I worked in the PM. It went rather fast. Julie and I make a great team. I guess it helps when Steve does all the janitorial work though. No thanks to Jenn for breaking the Zamboni. Which reminds me to remind myself to call them and ask when we are getting it back, its been like four days now. On the same kennel manager page I should remind myself to start working on reviews for all the employees I have. I need to get with it otherwise I will be backed up when school begins.

Wednesday Steve and I went to Rosedale. That was fun. Definately the highlight of my week was steve putting on a north carolina hat he bought. It looks really good on him. Unfortunately he forgot to remove the sticker on the visor and the thing that held it on the rack *so it stuck straight out the top of the hat* while we were walking through the mall. He must of liked it so much that he forgot about it and I didn't notice until a group of four girls walked by and laughed at us. And I'm like *in my head*, "What the hell..." I look at Steve to find all this crap on his hat and I just start laughing. Man, that was a good time. Guess you just have to be there. Oh Oh, right. I bought GT3 (Gran Taurismo 3 for future reference) and another pair of the dark sandblasted nauticas. So I have three "naughties" now. I'm growing attached to the darker colors. I wonder if that means I'm a dark person.

Thursday night and friday night were well spent with Justin and the gang. Thursday night Justin, Amber, Nikki and I watched some TV and played some scrabble at Amber's house. It was a good time. Later that evening Justin and I played some Tetris. I never beat him, but I came close in sprint mode. On a side note Ashley thinks less of me because I didn't realize "ago" was a word. Common, it was a thursday night! Well, I feel really stupid now but hey, thats life kicking me in the face again. Friday night was poker night II at Justin's house. Once again I came out ahead. Placed second, first and second respectively. I should've had the third round but I foolishly gave it away. At least it was to the person who needed the money the most. I believe I'm the round leader for the two poker nights that Justin has held. Supposedly there might be one Saturday night *tonight*. We shall see if I attend. After poker I played ddr on Justin's metal pad shortly. I did terrible. I'm not blaming the pad, I'm blaming me for not being used to it.

Which reminds me of something that I finally finished. I finally sent out the ddrnation pads. If the buynshop doesn't send out the new ones and reimburse me for shipping I'll be pissed. I know I got to them late but I will just tell them I was out of town for the holidays and didn't get to it. I didn't play on one of them for more than 10 minutes until I was unsatisfied. I better get my money.

Boy, I'm just jumping everywhere ain't I. Well, I rented LXG (League of Extraordinary Gentlemen). It was a good movie, Matt and I enjoyed it. I kept oversleeping and thus accrued two late fees on it. 12 dollars to rent that movie. God I'm an idiot.

And finally I will end with my late night activities. Video games, video games, video games. Most of the nights I've come back home people have been in my house. Almost always Matt and Alex. One night; Matt Pet., Bethany *which surprised me* and her friend, Matt Pres. and Nils. That was an interesting group. Regardless, I come home and I've got stuff to do all the time with them. But yeah, I've been playing gt3 almost all the time. Its terrible. Almost as bad as ddr. But I just can't beat it as fast *6 hours to an undetermined amount of time*. Video games have consumed my nights, where website work should intervene. I'm screwing up my life.

Speaking of screwed up things. My control panel of this computer got infected with some virus. I can't open anything related or in the control panel. I just can't. I hate this computer. We need a new one.

Well, thats it. I think I threw out everything new in my life. Most of the stuff presented have always been there. Under the curtain as some may say. They just receive a little bit more spotlight than normal. This is it for now, I've got to work in 5 hours so I better get some sleep. The least sleep I've gotten all week. Gnight to all of you and thank you for reading to the bottom :) adios.
