Cold
A ripple for every moment

Frigid sky scattered here and there. Shadows watch mountains who are not easily scared. Snowflakes fall as time stands still, while sun's warmth trembles under the treacherous chill. Depths run thin as the ice grows, and blue meets white in the blue shallow. Everything covered perfectly in a blanket, one that is cold and doesn't need to fake it.

The 15th of May, 2003 at 10:11 PM

I haven't gotten so much sleep all year than this morning... almost 12 hours of it. Woke up and read organic chemistry. Went to work. Came home and watched most of buffy and witnessed apocalypse number three or whatever. Seen that one already. Finished all the essential reading for the o chem exam which is saturday. Played some bb at the y which was ok. Came home and watched some tv... made myself a great milkshake. tried to see the lunar eclipse... but it wasn't too spectacular...... hoping the moon would turn a little more red. O well. Can't ask for everything. And now its to bed. Didn't practice my clarinet... which is a big no no. I have this recital sunday... which means i need to do some practicing... like lots to work up the endurance to play our nine minute piece. Whatever the case, it will be good. Off to bed I go, gnight all,
