Cold
A ripple for every moment

Frigid sky scattered here and there. Shadows watch mountains who are not easily scared. Snowflakes fall as time stands still, while sun's warmth trembles under the treacherous chill. Depths run thin as the ice grows, and blue meets white in the blue shallow. Everything covered perfectly in a blanket, one that is cold and doesn't need to fake it.

The Dresden Dolls

I stumbled upon this band rather spontaneously. I was listening to the radio as some commerical came on. This commercial kept going and going, pretty soon I realized it wasn't a commerical... it was song! The very song I heard was called Coin-Operated Boy.

I decided to investigate this very unique, interesting sound. Upon visiting their website, I found a cult-ish band which eerily reminded me of something straight out of Rocky Horror Picture Show. I clicked around the website and read through some of the songs. Very creepy.

The music has something though, which catches your attention and doesn't let go. The inconsistent pounding of the piano paired with Amanda's haunting voice makes a beautiful wave of hypnotic music sure to bring you into the store.

I don't know how else to put it, but if you heard it, you would know. Songs to look for: Coin-Operated Boy, Good Day and Bad Habit.
