Casting Crowns
A friend of mine first let me in on this wonderful band, she said it was one of her favorite christian bands. The first song I heard was, "If We Are The Body." Mark Hall, the lead singer, has such an awesome voice. He puts so much heart into every song, you can feel it when he sings.
Probably my best Casting Crowns experience was at Sonshine 2005. Casting Crowns was playing on the main stage right before Mercy Me. Mark is such an incredible man and he spoke of his journey through faith. Mark has ADD. Can you imagine being a singer of a rock band, trying to sing with stuff flying all over the place, and all you want to do is go out there and grab it? The man is amazing, an amazing man of God.
Any album you find in the store will find a way to your heart. He is a very inspiring singer and can spark a fire in your heart when you are feeling down. I strongly recommend this band, they are one of my favorites.
