The Blue Shallow
A ripple for every moment

The Blue Shallow. Even though everything appears to be shallow and simple, there is so much more depth. The waters of life are more dark blue than anything. Nothing is transparent. There is so much more under the surface...

About The Author

My name is John and I'm a student at the University of Minnesota. All my life I've wanted to be a veterinarian so that is my goal. I have some computer skills involving coding, software support and hardware support. I am a sporty person. I love basketball but I've never played on a team. I can be shy and that is why I don't do too many outgoing things. I love my friends and my family. Without them I don't know who I'd be today. You will find snippets of my life below which are worth retelling. Thanks for coming and welcome to my site.

Injuries

I work at an animal hospital. What more can I say. I will rewrite the code for this part of my website so I can update my injuries easily.

Favorite Animals

I have to say my favorite wildlife animal is a raccoon. I like other animals though, just because of what they do or how they look. How else am I supposed to explain it?

Embarassing Moment

Probably couldn't be called the most embarassing moment, but it was up there. I guess this incident could also be known as The Friday Stare. As much as I hated Sociology, I miss those kind of classes. They were easier and sometimes more interesting.

Moon Shoes

My friend and I have a good idea on how to levitate. It may sound dumb, but it's true. So don't deny it! Accept it! Moon shoes.... all the way baby!

Chemistry

Have you ever had O. Chem? You know how it is, you never get good results. You never even end up with a 20% yield. This little story goes to show how such a little thing, makes so much a difference. At least it's funny.

Ariel

Ariel is my cat. If you didn't know this and got to my website I have to wonder who is actually coming here. Everyone says I have a girlfriend, my cat. It is a funny joke for the stories there are to tell, but we will not go there. Ariel is my baby, I couldn't imagine the world without her!

Gravity?

In my younger years I used to think about things, things we take for granted. I used to think about those things and say riiigggghhhhtt. This is my interpretation about why we stay on our feet all day. Try and prove me wrong, just do it.

The Accident

Some people know about it, some people don't. However, this was probably the most life-threatening thing that ever happend to me. An accident on the freeway. Funny how only seconds can feel like hours.

42

42 is the answer to life. If you haven't read Douglass Adam's Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, I highly suggest you read it. Not only does it take your mind off things, but it gets you to think about the world around you. It is a very funny series of books and worth your time.

Julius's Poetry

Julius is a good friend on mine. It's amazing how you get to meet people and how they grow on you. Julius and I first met in German Class in highschool. With the year we had together we got to know each other pretty well, taunting each other about the other's basketball skills. We ended up playing basketball together after highschool. We are still good friends to do this day and I am so glad I have a friend back home who loves the game as much as I do. This section contains some of his poetry, check it out!
